AMBER GUTIERREZ

Amber Gutierrez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care from Boise State University. With extensive experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), her expertise spans the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and patient education. For the past decade, Amber worked as a travel RRT, collaborating with hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide, honing her life-saving skills. In 2019, Amber embraced a new chapter of motherhood and relocated to Yuma with her husband, responding to a profound spiritual calling. While raising her children and serving her local church's medical safety team and Kidz Church, she discovered a gap in life-saving training options within her community. Driven by this realization, she embarked on a mission to provide essential CPR and emergency training locally. Though nationally licensed as an RRT, Amber's true passion lies in empowering her community with vital CPR and first aid education. She is dedicated to equipping individuals with the skills needed to save lives, embodying her commitment to service and safety.

ANTHONY GUTIERREZ

With over a decade of experience in behavioral health and more than 20 years in the professional tattoo industry, where annual Bloodborne Pathogen certification is required, Anthony has developed a passion for providing clean and sterile professional environments that uphold the highest standards of health and safety. During the pandemic, Anthony recognized the need for quality CPR training providers in the local community. Partnering with his wife, Amber, he sought to offer life-saving skills to others in the area, addressing this critical need.

My experience was very personal Amber took the time to explain every step. Helped me step out of my comfort zone, helped me start my healing process I needed with being ready to perform CPR. She is very professional with experience and knowledgeable respiratory therapist. I recommend 1UP CPR to all agency’s in need of staff training, You will not be disappointed. You will get trained and certified same day.

Why Train?

Survival From Cardiac Arrest

Without CPR, approximately 90% of cardiac arrest patients will not recover. Why? As educators and an organization, we want to improve our community. If we can equip people to be ready to respond, lives will be saved.

Cardiac Arrests Happen

Every 90 seconds, someone experiences a cardiac arrest with 7 out of 10 occurring at home or outside of a hospital.

Why does this matter? Cardiac Arrest does not discriminate and can occur without warning. If bystanders are able to administer CPR immediately, lives are saved.

Bystander CPR

By educating our community, we can have CPR more readily accessible and increase the chances of survival by 20-30%.

How can you get involved?
